Pumpkin Patch Tutorial 

 

Need Supplies 

Paint Shop Pro Program 

Background HERE (Facebook Group)

Mask HERE (Multi Floral Grunge Frame 5)

Autumn Days Kit HERE 

Nelly HERE (by Yuku) 

 

1. Open psp program go to File new size 800 x 550 transparent image 

2. Open the background go click on the magic wand inside the transparent image then go to Layers>Add new raster layer then go to your background go to Edit>Copy then go to Edit>Paste Selection then go to Selections>Select None 

3. Go to Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image

go to Source Window locate mask Multi Floral Grunge Frame 5

go to Create Mask source luminance 

Check Invert Mask Data

Click okay go to Layers>Merge>Merge Group 

4. Take the Selection tool draw a box over the image background then go to Layers>New raster layer leave the marching ants 

5. Open paper 13 go to Edit>Copy then go to new raster layer go to Edit>Paste into Selection then go to Selections>Modify>Contrast 10 click okay then go to paper layer go to Edit>Cut then go to Selections>Select None 

6. Go the the paper frame layer go to 3d Effects>Inner Bevel this this setting below 

# 2 Bevel

Width 25, Image Smoothness 15, Depth 7, Ambience 0, Shininess 0, Color white, Angle 34, Intensity 50, Elevation 50 click okay 

7. Open Leaves 3 go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it on the bottom as shown above it will fit into place with the frame 

8. Open Pumpkin Patch sign go to Image>Resize 75% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it on the right side 

9. Open Pumpkin Patch 2 go to Image>Resize 55% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the pumpkin patch on the right side 

   Now depending which Pumpkin Patch sign you use then use the same pumpkin patch (your choice) 

10. Open Pumpkin 2 go to Image>Resize 35% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the pumpkin sign go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the pumpkins behind the sign as shown above (keep the element open)

11. Go to the element pumpkin go to Edit>Copy then go to the top image layers with your move tool go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the pumpkin on the top right side as shown above once in place go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror and adjust the left side of the pumpkins as shown above 

12. Go to 3d Effects>Drop Shadow 0 0 60 10 black click okay on the pumpkins and the patch pumpkin sign 

13. Open Autumn Vine 3 go to Image>Resize 75% now go to Edit>Copy now go down the frame paper layer we made go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it on the left side as shown above 

14. Open Autumn Vine 1 go to Image>Resize 75% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the pumpkin patch sign go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the vine behind the sign then take your eraser an erase the vine on the bottom 

15. Open Broom go to Image>Resize 65% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the pumpkin sign go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer move it on the right side once in place go to Layers>Duplicate move the duplicate above the pumpkin sign now take your eraser and erase the broom stick on the pumpkin patch sign 

16. Open Butterfly 1 go to Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the butterfly on top the pumpkin sign on the left side 

17. Open Frog go to Image>Resize 20% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the frog down on the left side of the pumpkins once in place add the drop shadow as 0 0 60 10 black click okay then go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror then adjust the duplicate in front the pumpkins and the broom as shown above 

18. Open Flower Swing 2 go to Image>Resize 45% now go to Edit>Copy now go down the frame paper layer go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer and slide the swing into the image as shown above 

19. Open Butterfly 2 go to Image>Resize 20% then go to Image>Free Rotate Left 45 click okay now go to top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the butterfly on to of the flower swing as shown above then go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror adjust the duplicate butterfly on the autumn vine as shown above 

20. Open Bridge go to Edit>Copy now go to the background image go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move too adjust the bridge on the background it line with the lines of the image as shown above 

21. Open Nelly dress her as I have above go to Windows>Duplicate go to Layers>Merge Visible go to Edit>Paste into Image then go to Image>Resize 500 height percent now go to Edit>Copy now go down the the pumpkin patch go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer and move her legs into the image as shown above once in place go to your 3d Effects>Drop Shadow same as before click okay 

22.Add copyright as shown below

23. Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible 

24. Go to Image>Resize 90% (Optional) 

25. Go to File save as PNG format this completes this tutorial look for other tutorial designs with my Autumn Days scrap kit under Autumn tuts
