Countdown Candy Tutorial 

Supplies Need

Monster Mash Kit HERE

Kestrel Tube HERE (by © Goldwasser)

 

1. Open psp program go to File new size 700 x 700 transparent image 

2. Open Frame 3 go to Edit>Copy now go to the transparent image go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move it up and over to the left side a little 

3. Open Sign 1 go to Image>Resize 55% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool adjust the frame with the sign the right side of the frame should hide behind the sign as shown above 

4. Open Pumpkin 1 go to Image>Resize 55% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it on the lower bottom corner of your frame once in place go to Layers>Duplicate and move it up a little as shown above 

5. Open RIP Stone 2 go to Image>Resize 70% now go to Edit>Copy go down to the frame layer go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the stone behind the pumpkins line the stone up with the 2nd pumpkin stub 

6. Open Moon2 go to Edit>Copy go down to the transparent image go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the moon into the inner frame now take your eraser and erase the parts of the moon outside the frame on the top, both left and right side 

7. Open Grass 2 go to Image>Resize 80% now go to Edit>Copy now go above the frame go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the grass down on the bottom of the frame (hides the frame and moon) 

8. Open Dead Leaves go to Image>Resize 80% go to Edit>Copy now go to your images go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the dead leaves to match with the sign of the kitty pumpkins and it will line up with the pumpkins on the left side 

9. Open Kestrel and design her the way I have above or your choice once done go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible then go to Edit>Copy then Edit>Paste into Image (keep original tube open mini size it get back to it soon)  then go to the image of the girl go to Image>Resize 600 height pixels click okay now go to Image>Resize 80% now go to Image>Mirror now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool adjust her into the image once in place go to Layers>Duplicate more the duplicate layer down beneath the sign now take the top image of her and go down to 77% of your layer and careful erase the leg of her on the kitty pumpkin (right side) one done go to 100% layer and it look like if 2 kittens next to her 

10.  Go to the tube layer go to autumn leaves umbrella go to Edit>Copy Edit>Paste into Image then go to Image>Resize width 600 pixels click okay then go to Image>Resize 80% now take the element and go to Edit>Copy now go beneath the girl go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the autumn leaves down in front of the pumpkins on the left side, erase the leaves on the right side then go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer this time place the autumn leaves behind the girl back and erase the rest of the leaves on that element layer (keep the element open)

11. Take your crop tool and crop the orange leave on the right side then go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer this time place it down  in front of the kitty pumpkins on the right side 

12. Close the tube click no 

13. Open Cup 1 go to Image>Mirror Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the cup on the left side (hide her foot) the stick line up with the kitten paw 

14. Open Cupcake 1 go to Image>Resize 20% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it down on the right side of the pumpkin candy as shown above 

15. Open Candybag 1 go to Image>Resize 20% then go to Image>Rotate Right go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the cupcake and go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool slide the candybag behind the cupcake to cover the word boo 

16. Open the word art Countdown Candy go to Image>Resize 55% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the candy bag and go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool line the C on top of the autumn leave 

17. Open Frog 1 go to Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the frog on top of the autumn leaves on the left side of the pumpkins as shown above 

18. Open Owl go to Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the owl in front of the kitty pumpkins as shown above 

19. Open Bats 1 go to Image>Resize 55% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the autumn leave behind the girl back and go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the bats up a little into the moon behind the girl on the right side as shown above

20. Open Crow go to Image>Mirror then go to Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the crow on top of the sign as shown above 

21. Open Bat 4 go to Image>Resize 25% now go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the bat on top of the pumpkin stub on the left side then go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror and move the bat on the right side on top of the sign as shown above 

22. Open Clouds go to Image>Resize 55% now go to Edit>Copy now go down beneath the bats behind the girl go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the clouds into the image as it is shown above (gives effect behind the girl) 

23. Add the drop shadow of 0 0 70 25 #050505 color behind the girl, frog and the owl (it'll give it depth) 

24. Go to top layers go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible 

25. Add copyright as shown below
