Winter Wonderland Tutorial

 


 

Supplies Need 

Winter Wonderland Kit HERE

Jasc Animation Program

PSP Program 

Winter Wonderland Tutorial 

1. Open psp program go to File new size 700 x 700 transparent image 

2. Open Snow 2 go to Image>Resize 80% then go to Edit>Copy then go to your transparent image go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move it up a little then go to Layers>Duplicate then go to Image>Flip move the flip down a little

3.  Open Snow 1 go to Edit>Copy then go between the 2 snow layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the snow between the other two snows as shown above (see much it all white up make an effect) 

4. Open Tree 2 go to Image>Resize height 400 pixels click okay then go to Edit>Copy then go down to the 2nd snow layer go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool adjust it on the left side of the snow once in place go to Layers>Duplicate 2 times move both trees over to the right side as shown above 

5. Open Winter Tree 1 go to Image>Resize height 400 pixels click okay then go to Edit>Copy then go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the winter tree between the pine tree then once in place go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror adjust between other pine tree then go to the top winter tree go to Layers>Merge>Merge Down then with your push tool push a little on the trees (make look like the snow on the winter trees) 

6.Open Winter Brush go to Image>Resize height 200 pixels click okay then go to Edit>Copy go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it on the left side of the snow (use your push tool up around it ) then go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror then do it to the right side and use the push tool again 

7. Open Reindeer 1 go to Image>Resize 25% then go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the reindeer in front of the winter brush on the right side then use the push tool on top of his feet as shown above 

8. Open Reindeer 2 go to Image>Resize 25% then go to Image>Mirror then go to Edit>Copy then go to your top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer do the same thing with his feet with the push tool as shown above 

9. Open Gumdrop Candy 1 go to Image>Resize 45% then go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move her in front of the trees then use the push tool on her a little as if she is laying in the snow 

10. Open Penguin go to Image>Resize 25% then go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move it on the right side in front of the reindeer then push tool on his feet and then go to your 3d Effects>Drop Shadow of 0 0 60 25 black click okay 

11. Open Winter Wonderland go to Image>Resize 55% then go to Image>Free Rotate 5 click okay then go to step 12

12. Open Sign go to your word art go to Edit>Copy then go to your sign go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool adjust the word art on the sign then go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible go to Image>Resize 35% then set it aside 

13. Go to your Reindeer 2 move it above Gumdrop Candy 

14. Take the sign with the word art go to Edit>Copy then go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the sign on the left side and use the push tool on the bottom of the sign 

15. Add the copyright as shown below

16. Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible 

17. Go to File save as PNG background 

18. Open Polar Bear (on the skates ) Go to Windows>Duplicate 2 times close the original out then go to Image>Resize 25% each element then go to one of them go to Image>Mirror then save them as 1 and 2 

19. Open Jasc Animation program 

20.  Go to Animation Wizard do the following below 

   A. Same size as the first image 

   B. Transparent 

   C. Upper left corner/canvas color 

   D. Yes repeat  have at 45 

   E. Add 1 Polar Bear 3 times 1, 1, 1, then 2 then click finish then view Animation you see the polar bear going to skate then turn backwards 

21. Open the background image we made 

22. Take the tag go to Edit>Select all, Edit>Duplicate til get to F:5 then go to F:5 and delete that image then scroll back to F:1 

23. Take the polar bear go to Edit>Select all, Edit>Copy 

24. Take the image tag go to Edit>Select all, then go to Edit>Paste into Selection and move the polar bear into the snow as if they all watching the polar bear in the winter wonderland (add it 2 times)

25. Go to View>Animation to see it moving then close it out don't close your image out 

26. Open the snow animation it is F:10 

27. Go to F:4 on your image tag go to Edit>Select all, Edit>Duplicate 2 times it give F:15 now go to F;15 and delete each layer til get to F:10 then scroll to F:1

28. Take the snow animation go to Edit>Select all, Edit>Copy 

29. Take the tag go to Edit>Select all then right click your mouse go to Paste>Into Selection Frame with your move tool move the snow into the tag (do it 4 times left, right then left, and right again)

30. View>Animation to see the work you done then close it 

31. Animations>Resize Animation 600 pixels click okay 

32. Add your name do the following below 

 A. File new 300 x 300 transparent image 

B. Color I use is #483E5A 

C. Font I use is Hultog Snowdrift ,Oblique size 26 

D. Crop the name and then go to Edit>Select all, Edit>Copy then Edit>Duplicate you get to F:17 then go to F:17 and delete it til get to F:10 then scroll F:1 

E. Go to the tag go to F:1 go to Edit>Select all, then right click your mouse go to Paste>Into Select Frame with your move tool move your name into the snow as I did above 

33. Go to Animations>View then close the view out 

34. Go to File save as GIF Format this completes this tutorial look for other winter tutorials designs to come may you have a safe and cozy winter
