Wish You A Bright & Happy New Years Tutorial 

 

1. Open psp program go to File new size 700 x 700 transparent image 

2. Go to Custom Selections of this below 

Top 131, Left 178, Right 513, Bottom 528 check use current selection then Open Paper 6 go to Edit>Copy then go to your image go to Edit>Paste into Selections then go to Selections>Select all>Modify>Contract 15 click okay then go to Edit>Cut now go to Selections>Select None 

3. Take the gold frame we create go to Edit>Copy Edit>Paste into Image, then go to Image>Free Rotate Right 10 click okay then go to Edit>Copy go to your image go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move the 2nd gold frame over to the top move little over to the right they will overlap one another 

4. Open Paper 5 add it into the foreground pattern 0 angle, 100 scale click okay now do the following steps below 

  A. Close off the rotate frame, go down to the bottom frame go to Layers>Add new raster layer with your mouse move it to the bottom of the frame now take your magic wand click inside the frame go to Selections>Modify>Expand 2 click okay highlight the new raster layer beneath the frame click on your paint can and paint the tan paper into the marching ants then go to Selections>Select None. 

 B. Go to Layers>Add new raster layer close off bottom frame, and paper layer then do step A again but this time do it to the top rotate frame once done go to step 5

5. Open Tree 1 go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it on the left side as shown above 

6. Open Bells 1 (or 2) go to Image>Resize 25% then go to Edit>Copy now go top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it next to the gold tree top corner frame once in place go to Layers>Duplicate, Image>Mirror and adjust the bell on the upper right corner of your frame 

7. Open Present 4 go to Image>Resize 25% then go to Edit>Copy top layer go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it down on top of the gold tree towards the gold frame 

8. Open Present 2 go to Image>Resize 25% then go to Edit>Copy then go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool move it down next to the presents 4 in front of the gold tree as shown above 

9. Open Teddy bear 2022 go to Image>Resize 45% now go to Edit>Copy now go to top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the teddy bear in front of the gold tree as shown above 

10. Open psp tube and go to Edit>Copy for the garland lights and the cocoa cup. Then design the girl as you like or as I have above then go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible go to Edit>Copy then go to Edit>Paste into Image now go to Windows>Duplicate the girl now take the garland lights go to Edit>Copy and then go one girl image go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the garland lights on her arm now go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible (we will get to each element and the girl into the image) 

11. Now take the 1st girl without the garland lights go to Image>Resize 500 height pixel click okay now go to Edit>Copy now go down the paper 5 in the rotate frame go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer and she will go into the inner frame erase the parts of her outside the frame then go to layers Soft light, then hard light

12. Now take the 2nd girl with the garland lights go to Image>Mirror then go to Image>Resize 500 height pixel click okay now go to Edit>Copy go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool adjust her on the right side as shown above 

13. Take the cocoa cup go to Image>Mirror then go to Image>Resize 200 pixels click okay now go to Edit>Copy now go top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the cocoa cup down in front of your girl as shown above 

14. Take the garland lights go to Image>Resize 500 width pixels click okay then go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the garland lights into the gold tree (take your eraser and erase the garland lights on the left side on the transparent image) (keep the element open)

15. Take the Garland lights again go to Edit>Copy then go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it down in front of the transparent of the girl and the elements then (take your eraser and erase it off the teddy bear and the cocoa cup) 

16. Open Puppy dog 1 (or 2) go to Image>Resize 35% now go to Edit>Copy go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place the dog in front of the girl knee next to the presents as shown above 

17. Open the word art Wish You a Bright & Happy New Year go to Image>Resize 65% then go to Edit>Copy now go to the top image layers go to Edit>Paste into new raster layer with your move tool place it down beneath the elements as shown above 

18. Add copyright as shown below
